SLOVAKIA

Bad news, I'm afraid, for curryholics intending to visit Slovakia. At the time of writing there is only one Indian restaurant in the whole of the country, and that's not easily accessible. The good news is that it is in Bratislava, the capital and presumably where most people would visit, but the bad news is that it is a little way out from the old town where most of the hotels are situated.

The restaurant is called Maharadza, which I assume translates to Maharajah, and it is situated at Bartokova ulica (the entrance is opposite the pharmacy). It offers Bengal cuisine but as it is some way out (in the direction of Slavin, the Russian war memorial) I am afraid I didn't pay it a visit.
