RAJ OF INDIA, 2 ALL SAINTS STREET

Unfortunately I cannot provide an up-to-date detailed report on the food as it was ten years since I visited this restaurant - before I began reporting for the Curry Club/Good Curry Guide.

However, exceptionally I give it an entry here simply because it is still there under the same ownership (and, I believe, chef), and on my previous visit I recall the food was very good. The manager and one other member of staff were very friendly and helpful when I popped in this time for a menu, which would bode well for good, friendly service, and the reason I didn't visit on this occasion is outlined in the Stamford CURRY SCENE. However, I can say that as I passed in the evening the smell coming from inside was delicious and I am sure I would have enjoyed another good meal. Next time I'm in Stamford I'll definitely be back.
